Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SideCash.ai is a product of Santushti Infotech Private Limited, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. For personal data about contributors, we act as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For the video content you work on, which belongs to our clients, we act as a Data Processor.

2. What we collect and why

We collect personal data for clear, specific purposes, with your consent:

• Account data (name, WhatsApp number, email, password): to create and run your account and to reach you.
• Profile data (date of birth, city, state, education, current employment status, hours you can work, how you heard about us, and your confirmation that you have a laptop or desktop with internet): to confirm eligibility and match you to suitable work.
• Identity data (PAN and, where required, Aadhaar information): to confirm who you are, reduce fraud and multiple accounts, and meet tax and record-keeping needs. See the identity and payout details section below.
• Payout data (bank account number, name as per bank, IFSC and account type): to pay your earnings for approved work.
• Work data (your captions, labels, video slices, submissions and quality scores): to deliver projects to clients and pay you accurately.
• Usage data (device, browser, approximate location from your network, pages visited): to keep the service secure and to understand traffic. Our public website sidecash.ai also uses Google Analytics for this, as described in the Cookie Policy.
• Advertising and measurement data (which of our ads you saw or clicked, that you visited the site, and that you started or completed a sign-up): only if you accept advertising cookies. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API for this, as described in the Cookie Policy. Where enabled, a limited set of identifiers such as a hashed email or phone number is shared with Meta so it can match the event; we never share your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or work.
• Support and grievance records: to resolve your issues and meet legal obligations.
• Community data (your Discord account ID, your Discord display name at the time you connect, and the level role we apply to you): only if you choose to connect a Discord account from your dashboard, so we can add you to our community server and open the channels that match your level. This is optional, you can disconnect at any time from your dashboard, and disconnecting removes both your role in the server and the record we hold.
• Account closure records (the reason you choose when you close your account, any comment you add, and whether you or an administrator closed it): to understand why people leave and to keep a record of the closure. If your personal data is later erased, this record is kept without any link to you.

3. Consent

We ask for your consent before collecting your data, and you accept this policy and our Terms when you register. You can withdraw consent for optional processing at any time. Withdrawing consent for something essential, such as identity or payout data, may mean we cannot pay you or continue your account, and we will tell you that before you confirm.

4. Identity and payout details

Your identity and bank details are sensitive, so we store them encrypted. We collect them only with your consent, only to confirm your identity and to pay your earnings, and never for advertising. They are displayed masked across the platform, and we never share them with clients or other contributors.

Authorized personnel of the Company may access and process PAN and Aadhaar information only where necessary to resolve payment or transaction-related issues, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or as otherwise permitted under applicable law. Each such access is logged.

You may ask us how your identity and payout details are used, or request their deletion where the law allows.

5. Keeping your work confidential

The video content you work on belongs to our clients and is confidential. You never upload your own personal videos for annotation work. You must not copy, share, publish or leak project videos, captions, labels or instructions, as set out in the Terms of Service. We handle this content only to deliver the specific project it belongs to.

6. Who can see your data

Inside SideCash.ai, access follows a person's role. Team leads and managers see masked identifiers and work status only. A small compliance team can view identity documents, and each such view requires a reason and creates a permanent audit record. Clients receive only the finished work product and aggregate quality figures, never your identity documents, contact details or bank information.

We use trusted service providers, for example for sending email, hosting, and (on our website, with your consent) Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement. Email and hosting providers process data only on our instructions. Google and Meta process the analytics and advertising data as described in the Cookie Policy and under their own data policies. We do not sell your personal data, and we never share your identity, bank or work data with advertising tools.

If you choose to connect Discord, that service is run by Discord Inc. under its own terms and privacy policy, and anything you post there is visible to other members of the server. We share nothing with Discord beyond what is needed to add you to our server and set your level role. We never send your identity, payout or work data to Discord, and you can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, or as required by law. Payment and tax records are kept for the periods Indian law requires. Identity documents are kept only while needed for verification and record-keeping and are deleted after that, or on an approved deletion request, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or update data that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention rules.
• Withdraw a consent you gave earlier.
• Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act for yourself.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.

9. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, secure storage for sensitive fields, access limited by role, audit logging of sensitive actions, and secure development practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

10. Children

SideCash.ai is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will close it and delete the data.

11. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use a secure cookie to keep you logged in. With your consent, our public website also uses Google Analytics to measure visitors and where they come from, and the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our advertising performs (conversion measurement and campaign attribution). You are asked to accept or decline these the first time you visit, you can manage analytics and advertising separately, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the website footer.

12. Contact and grievances

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the platform and by email, and the latest version is always on this page with its effective date.
