AI learns from examples people have described accurately. You watch short videos of everyday tasks — cooking, assembling, packing — and describe what happens in two layers: one high-level caption for the whole video, then a short caption for each individual action.

The tool suggests captions, but they're only suggestions. You check each one against what you actually see, keep what's right and fix what's wrong. Expect about 5–6 minutes per one-minute video at first; you'll get faster.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, have basic English proficiency, access to a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection, and be available for a minimum of 4 hours per day, with the flexibility to work additional hours based on their availability.

You must follow all guidelines carefully, as accuracy is more important than speed, remain reachable through your WhatsApp group, and understand that you will be working as an independent contractor. All submitted work is subject to quality review.

We pay your earnings straight into your bank account, so we need those details and the bank account name must match your registered name. PAN is required because payments to individuals in India must be reported for tax and may be needed to deduct 1% TDS following Government rules. Both are stored securely and used only for payments and compliance.

Your Work Platform Details unlock straight away, and we email you a copy: the platform address, your referral code, and the email you must register with.

Go to the Work Platform, sign up with the same email as your SideCash.ai account, enter your referral code, then complete the training and exam. Read both PDF guides first — start with the golden reference examples, practice 15–20 training tasks, get ≥80% accuracy, and once you feel confident, give the exam. You get only one attempt at the exam.

After you complete your video annotation exam on the Work Platform, our team reviews the result and updates your status within 24 to 48 hours. There's nothing to do while you wait — once approved, you'll be added to paid projects.

Approved hours are the hours that passed quality review — only approved work is paid. Your work moves through submitted → reviewed → approved → earned, and your dashboard always shows your current approved hours and earnings. Payments are calculated monthly, and paid the following month at the earliest.
